About Huaibei Normal University

Huaibei Normal University is located in Huaibei City, Anhui Province, a national civilized city and a national garden city. It is a comprehensive provincial key university. In 1974, it was founded in Huaibei Branch of Anhui Normal University. In December 1978, with the approval of the State Council, it was named Huaibei Coal Teachers College, which was affiliated to the former Ministry of Coal Industry and recruited students for the whole country. In September, 1998, the management system of “co-construction by the central and local governments, with Anhui Province as the main management” was implemented. Approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2010, it was renamed Huaibei Normal University. In 2003, he was granted the right to master’s degree. In 2007, he was awarded “Excellent” in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level of the Ministry of Education. In 2009, it was added as a provincial-level doctoral training unit and a postdoctoral training unit.

The school has two campuses, Xiangshan and Binhu, covering an area of more than 2,400 mu.
