黄庭坚
少游[1]得谪，尝梦中作词云：“醉卧古藤阴下，了不知南北。”竟以元符庚辰，死于藤州光华亭上。崇宁甲申[2]，庭坚窜宜州，道过衡阳。览其遗墨，始追和其《千秋岁》词[3]。
苑边花外。
记得同朝退[4]。
飞骑轧，
鸣珂[5]碎。
齐歌[6]云绕扇，
赵舞[7]风回带。
严鼓断，
杯盘狼藉犹相对。
洒泪谁能会。
醉卧藤阴盖。
人已去，
词空在。
兔园[8]高宴悄，
虎观[9]英游改。
重感慨，
波涛万顷珠沉海[10]。
注释：
[1]少游：秦观（1049—1100年），北宋词人。字少游、太虚，号淮海居士，高邮（今属江苏）人。曾任秘书省正字，兼国吏院编修官等职。因政治上倾向于旧党，被视为元祐党人，绍圣后累遭贬谪。文辞为苏轼所赏识。与黄庭坚、张耒、晁补之合称“苏门四学士”。工诗词。词多写男女情爱，也颇有感伤身世之作，风格委婉含蓄，清丽雅淡。诗风与词风相近。有《淮海集》《淮海居士长短句》。
[2]崇宁甲申：崇宁三年，即1104年。
[3]“览其”二句：绍圣三年（1096年），孔毅甫为衡阳（今属湖南）守，秦观徙郴州，道过衡阳，曾以《好事近》词赠之。黄庭坚所见秦观“遗墨”，当即此词手迹。
[4]“苑边”二句：追忆元祐七年（1092年）三月馆阁同人汴京金明池、琼林苑之游，见秦现《西城宴集诗·序》。
[5]鸣珂：马络头上的玉饰，行动则响。
[6]齐歌：齐地之歌。
[7]赵舞：赵地的舞蹈。先秦时齐、赵两国都会繁华，其地遂以多美女而善歌舞著名。
[8]兔园：又称梁园。汉代梁孝王园，是我国有名的古园林，故址在今河南商丘东。此指宋时金明池、琼林苑，在汴京（今开封）西郑门外。
[9]虎观：白虎观，为汉儒讲习之所。此指宋的秘书省，借指黄庭坚和秦观过去在学术机构的文学交游。
[10]珠沉海：比喻秦观逝世。
A Thousand Years Old
Huang Tingjian
I remember after the court hours
We visited the garden of flowers.
Our horses ran,
Their gold bells rang.
Dancers with skirt in wind danced with their fan;
Into the cloud songstresses sang.
The drumbeats stopped when night was late;
We still sat face to face with leftovers in the plate.
Who understands why I shed tears after wine?
Drunk, we lay down in the shade of old vine.
Now you are gone, in vain
Your verses still remain.
In the garden of pleasure the feast is quiet;
In the Temple of White Tiger there’s no more riot.
Deeply I sigh,
In the depth of the sea like a pearl you should lie.

《千秋岁·苑边花外》是北宋文学家黄庭坚于宋徽宗崇宁三年（公元1104年）所作的一首词。这首词追和秦观的《千秋岁·水边沙外》词，用秦观词韵，是作者悼念故人秦观的作品。该词回忆词人与友人秦观过去的欢乐日子，又写友人离去后自己的悲伤，沉痛伤感，饱含词人对友人的怀念之情。
“A Thousand Years Old” is a lyric written by Huang Tingjian, a literary scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty, in the third year of Emperor Huizong’s Chongning (1104 AD). The lyric follows Qin Guan’s “A Thousand Years of Autumn – Beyond the Sand by the Water”, and uses Qin Guan’s rhymes. The lyric recalls the joyful days between the lyricist and his friend Qin Guan in the past, and also writes about his own sorrow after the departure of his friend, which is painful and sad, full of the lyricist’s nostalgic feelings for his friend.
