九曲池头[1]三月三，
柳毵毵[2]。
香尘扑马喷金衔[3]，
涴[4]春衫。
苦笋鲥鱼乡味美，
梦江南。
阊门[5]烟水晚风恬，
落归帆。
注释：
[1]九曲池头：据考察，苏州并无九曲池。《建康志》载，九曲池在台城东宫城内，梁昭明太子所凿。长安有曲江池，为都中第一胜景，开元、天宝年间上巳日（三月初三）游人云集，盛况空前。建康又有九曲池，蜀中有所谓龙池九曲，贺词中的“九曲池”可能指的是京都汴京的游览胜地，并非实指。五代后蜀花蕊夫人宫词云：“龙池九曲远相通，杨柳丝牵两岸风。”花蕊夫人写的是蜀中指汴京供皇帝游乐与士庶纵赏的金明池等一带河塘。《越绝书》中云：“胥门外有九曲路，阖庐造以游姑苏之台，以望太湖。”
[2]柳毵毵：形容柳树细长的枝叶。毵毵，毛发、枝条等细长垂拂、纷披散乱的样子。孟浩然《高阳池送朱二》诗：“澄波淡淡芙蓉发，绿岸毵毵杨柳垂。”
[3]金衔：金属制作的马络头。
[4]涴：被泥玷污，污染。
[5]阊门：指作者长期居留过的苏州。

· Peaceful Time
He Zhu
By winding stream with pools in third moon on third day,
The willow branches sway.
Fragrant dust is raised by spitting steeds with golden bit
And vernal dress is stained with spit.
I dream of the south.
How delicious are fish and bamboo shoots to the mouth!
The evening breeze calms misty waves before the town,
Returning sails lowered down.
注释：
The first stanza describes a scene of the capital and the second one of the south.
贺铸《梦江南·太平时》此词并非一般地记述冶游、描摹春景，而是有很深挚的乡思渗透其中，抒写了词人的性情，可谓“格见于全篇浑然不可镌，气出于言外浩然不可屈”。但情思作品中又表现得非常蕴藉，如写汴京春景，笔墨极其丽，初读之只见其繁盛而浑不觉有其它用意。
The lyrics of He Cast’s “Dreaming of the South · Peaceful Time” are not a general account of a spring trip or a description of the spring scenery, but a very sincere hometown thought permeates them and expresses the lyricist’s temperament, which can be said to be “unengravable in the whole piece and unyielding out of the words”. However, the work of love and thought is very implicit, such as the spring scenery of Bianjing, the brush and ink are extremely beautiful, and at first reading, you can only see its prosperity and do not feel that there are other intentions.
