露堤平，
烟墅杳。

独有庾郎年最少。
窣地春袍，

Waterbag Dance
Mei Yaochen
Level banks wet with dew,
Mist-veiled cots out of view,
Green grass runs riot;
After the morning rain the river’s quiet.
Only the official youngest in years,
Whose green gown caressing the ground, appears
To rival with the grass in tender hue.
It overspreads the pavilion of adieu,
And veils the lane stretched far away.
How can I not complain of my dear friend
Who’s gone and won’t return on an early day?
When all pear blossoms fall, spring has come to an end.
The land is steeped in the sun’s departing ray,
The green grass will grow old with the smoke grey.

《苏幕遮·露堤平》是宋代文学家梅尧臣的词作。此词上片以绮丽之笔，突出雨后青草之美；下片以凄迷之调，突出青草有情，却反落入苍凉之境。全词通过上下片的对照，抒发了作者的惜草、惜春的情怀，寄寓了作者的身世之感，形象鲜明突出，意境深远含蓄，耐人寻味。
“Waterbag Dance” is a lyric by Mei Yaochen, a writer of the Song Dynasty. The upper part of the lyric highlights the beauty of the grass after the rain with a beautiful brush; the lower part of the lyric highlights the love of the grass with a miserable tone, but falls into a bleak situation. Through the contrast of the upper and lower pieces, the whole lyric expresses the author’s feelings of cherishing grass and spring, and implies the author’s feelings of his life.
