盍西村
万家灯火闹春桥[2]，
十里光相照。
舞凤翔鸾[3]势绝妙。
可怜[4]宵!波间涌出蓬莱岛[5]。
香烟乱飘，
笙歌喧闹，
飞上玉楼[6]腰。
注释：
[1]江岸水灯：盍西村所作“临川八景”中的第三首。描写的是元宵节江岸灯火与船上灯火交相呼应的热闹景象。
[2]闹春桥：灯火把江上的桥装点得光芒四射、热闹惹眼。闹：热闹，惹眼。
[3]舞凤翔鸾：形容各式各样的灯火表演。凤：凤形的灯。鸾：传说中凤凰一类的鸟，此处指鸾形的灯。
[4]可怜：可爱。
[5]蓬莱岛：相传是海上的仙山，这里比喻水上的灯船。
[6]玉楼：相传是天帝的居所。

He Xicun
Thousands of lanterns run riot on vernal shore,
Light overspreads for miles and miles.
Wonderful dancing phoenixes and dragons soar
Into the lovely night.
Out of the waves emerge three fairy isles.
See incence waft in flight;
Hear music on flute played!
They fly up around the tower of jade.
《小桃红·江岸水灯》是元代盍西村创作的一首小令。这支小令描写元宵节闹花灯的盛况。万家灯火，华丽明亮，有的如凤凰飞舞，有的似鸾乌飞翔，美妙绝伦。整首小令在幻觉般的境界中戛然而止，回味无穷。
“Tune: Red Peach Blossoms · （I）Lantern Lights on the River” is a small order written by Qia Xicun in the Yuan Dynasty. It depicts the festive scene of lanterns at the Lantern Festival. The lanterns are gorgeous and bright, some of them are like phoenixes dancing and some are like luan flying, which is wonderful. The whole song ends abruptly in a realm of illusion, which is endlessly evocative.
