Guiyang Healthcare Vocational University is the first full-time public undergraduate vocational school in Guizhou province approved by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Guizhou Province. It is a public institution directly under the supervision of the People’s Government of Guiyang city, and is located in Guanshanhu District, one of the “dual core” in the “dual core multi-group” of Guiyang City.

Medical and health majors account for 63.16% of the total majors. At present, the university has 632 teachers, including 379 full-time teachers from the main campus, 253 teachers from affiliated hospitals and external teachers.
