Excerpts From Su Shi Sets

不识庐山真面目,只缘身在此山中。

THE REASON WHY I CAN’T RECOGNIZE THE REAL FACE OF LUSHAN IS BECAUSE I AM IN IT.

人有悲欢离合,月有阴晴圆缺,此事古难全。

PEOPLE HAVE VICISSITONS OF GRIEF AND JOY, AND THE MOON HAS WAXES AND WANES, WHICH HAS BEEN DIFFICULT TO BE COMPREHENSIVE SINCE ANCIENT TIMES.

但愿人长久,千里共婵娟。

I ONLY HOPE THAT ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD CAN BE SAFE AND HEALTHY RELATIVES, EVEN THOUSANDS OF MILES APART, CAN ALSO SHARE THIS BEAUTIFUL MOONLIGHT.
