I. Basic information

Guangdong Lingnan Institute of Technology was founded in 1993 as “Guangzhou Lingnan Culture and Technology School” and was approved by guangdong Provincial people’s Government in May 2001. The investment of the institute is Guangzhou Lingnan Education Group Co., LTD., which is a private non-enterprise unit. The school adopts the principal responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors, with He Huishan as the chairman and Lao Hansheng as the principal. It is a private higher vocational and technical institute integrating medicine and health, electronic communication, modern manufacturing, financial and economic management and creative design.

The institute now has two campuses in Guangzhou and Qingyuan, covering a total area of 1316 mu, with a building area of 640,000 square meters.
