About Jilin Engineering Normal University

Jilin Engineering and Normal University is located in Changchun, Jilin Province. It is the first full-time undergraduate normal university in China approved by The State Council to train professional teachers for vocational education. It is also the only independent full-time undergraduate vocational normal university in the three provinces of Northeast China and Inner Mongolia. The university was founded in 1959 as Jilin Provincial Labor Department Technical university; In 1979, with the approval of The State Council, Jilin Technical Teachers College was established to carry out undergraduate education under the former State Administration of Labor. 1983 It was placed under the administration of Jilin Province and renamed Jilin Vocational Teachers College.
