Chinese cities harbor people from all cultures who hold old practices along with development. But, Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province offered a pleasing blend of old achievements. For instance, the remarkable Nanjing City Wall gave me an important opportunity to enjoy a cheerful environment where ordinary tea houses, night markets, and street displays made up the city. For those who cherished learning Chinese history and culture, touring Nanjing City was helpful and full of fun.

One thing people must know is that China’s universities have gained overall appreciation because of their high-quality education systems attracting many students from all over the world. For instance, Nanjing School which was founded in 1902, is famous for its keen academic ventures and assessment of important entry requirements. Nanjing University ensured that only those students who met the set requirements and standards of the University were admitted to study. With this great honor, students from Nanjing University could move toward top-tier workplaces, were experienced educators, and formed a solid international student community through the quality education that was offered at the University. Additionally, Nanjing City offered international students a good environment for learning the Chinese language and culture which aided in smooth transitions.

For example, we were taught how to recognize an individual with wrong motives and avoid new or faintly lit places at night time.

So all that an international student was required to lead a successful life in China was to understand the Chinese culture and language to blend successfully into Chinese society. For instance, the Chinese culture emphasized respect for seniors and staying aware of good relations. Thus, good habits, solid quality in everything, and delicacy were extremely valued. In Nanjing City, I used to enjoy Chinese food with its various flavors and the usual qualities which was a key part of the Chinese lifestyle. Also, I trained myself to embrace every opportunity by trying Chinese treats and participating in customary practices and festivities and this was indeed a pleasure.

I found Nanjing city unbelievably unique as I could mingle and build good relationships with other students from diverse backgrounds which worked well for my overall knowledge of diverse cultures. Participating in student-organized groups, extensive social events, and language exchange programs allowed me to form lasting connections and cultivate a more significant knowledge of different social tips which later helped me in my career.

All in all, as a former student at Nanjing School, I had the pleasure to experience the cheerful and dynamic nature of this Chinese city. From the rich social heritage to the cutting edge enrichments, Nanjing city offered countless opportunities for mindfulness, social groups, and insightful significance in my career path. Therefore, studying the Chinese language, embracing social differences, and observing the various scenes of China can make the journey as an international student surprising.
