The International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University was established in 2001 and is one of the departments with the largest teaching scale in Beijing Foreign Studies University. Its talent training programs cover planned undergraduates, academic masters, professional masters, and doctoral degrees, as well as studying abroad and studying in China. The International Business School has six departments: the Department of International Economics, the Department of Finance, the Department of Accounting and Financial Management, the Department of Business Management, the Department of International Business, and the Department of Management Science and Engineering; the G20 Research Center, the Silk Road Research Institute, Management Science Research Center, Cross-cultural Management Research Center, Transnational Sanctions and Export Control Research Center, Global Science and Technology Innovation Promotion Research Center, Economic Management Course Ideological and Political Research Center and many other research institutions.

The college currently has a doctoral degree authorization point for the first-level discipline of “Management Science and Engineering” and a second-level doctoral degree authorization point for “International Business and Regional Governance”. There are eight undergraduate majors in international economics and trade, finance, business administration, accounting, e-commerce, information management and information systems, financial management, and international business. Four majors in economics, management, IT, and communication are majors in studying abroad. All undergraduate and graduate majors are simultaneously open to international students from all over the world. The International Business School offers a large number of economic management courses taught in English, and at the same time provides students with Spanish and French as their second foreign language. At present, the International Business School has a total of 900 Chinese undergraduates, 500 undergraduates studying in China, 280 double-degree undergraduates in economics and management, and 320 full-time postgraduates (including master and doctoral students). The Ministry of Education is studying abroad. The training base has 500 students in the international economic management project. At the same time, the International Business School cooperates with various departments and departments to cultivate international business (German and German-speaking country studies), finance (Russian and Russian-speaking country studies), Russian (finance), Spanish (international business), and Korean ( International business direction), European language (European business characteristic class) undergraduate students.

The college has a strong faculty. They come from different countries around the world, have different cultural backgrounds and professional fields, covering economics, management, science, engineering, literature, philosophy, law, foreign languages, etc., and to a considerable extent Interpenetration and integration of the above. They not only have a solid theoretical foundation in modern economics and management, but also have a broad international perspective and rich practical experience. Among the full-time teachers of the college, more than 90% have a doctorate degree or are studying for a doctorate degree, and more than 70% have an overseas degree or more than half a year of overseas study experience. From the perspective of the title structure, the International Business School currently has 10 professors and 19 associate professors.
