纵马大奔数日，驰近东海之滨。这日天色已黑，二人到客店中歇下。
The horse galloped for several days, close to the shore of the East China Sea. It was dark today, so they went to the inn for a rest.
快近午夜时，二人还在说话儿，忽听十余丈外脚步声响，两个夜行人施展轻功，从南向北急奔而过，依稀听得一人说道:“树镇恶令可休矣……”

郭黄二人急忙跃起，随后跟去。出镇后奔了六、七里，转过一个小坳便见二堆人聚在一起，有人手持火把正对着一个山洞吆喝叫骂.却又不敢走近。

忽听洞中一个声音道:“有本事的进来!”郭靖一听得知是大师父柯镇恶。“师父，徒儿来啦!”人随声至，手起掌落，已有几个被打翻在地。

众人均不是对手，几招之后便一哄而散。郭靖把柯镇恶从洞中扶出，见师父白布缠头，不由大惊:“师父怎么了?二师父他们呢?”柯镇恶抬头向天并不回答，只见他两行热泪纵横流淌。

郭靖望着柯镇恶影踪不见，又想起师父刚才的话，心中闷闷不乐。黄蓉也不相劝，连夜雇了船来，扬帆直赴桃花岛。
Guo Jing looked at Ke Zhenxing’s disappearance, and then remembered what Shifu had just said. Huang Rong also refused to persuade her. She hired a boat overnight and set sail for Peach Blossom Island.
