After graduating in 2022, he registered an international trade service company in Nanning, Guangxi. In recent years, based on building a closer China ASEAN community of shared future, NCVT has focused on services to promote the international brand of “studying in Guangxi“, focused on recruiting and cultivating international students from countries along the “the Belt and Road“, especially ASEAN countries, and constantly explored the integrated development of vocational education and international Chinese education by building platforms, promoting communication, creating models and improving quality, develop a distinctive “language+technology” talent training model for international students in China.
In his first year at NCVT, Caffee studied Chinese and participated in various language and cultural practice activities at the school and society, successfully breaking through the language barrier; Then enter professional courses and participate in various professional competitions; Finally, in an enterprise job internship, combine language and technology, engineering and learning, and apply what is learned.
Caffee is among the first group of international students with a degree program at NCVT. The school innovatively practices the “language+technology” training model of “integration of industry and education, school enterprise cooperation” for international students in China, driven by job tasks, integrating Chinese language learning and e-commerce technology, and achieving the integration of “job-course competition certification”.
In order to enable international students to better learn Languages of China and culture, NCVT uses the school’s intangible cultural heritage museum and offers various Chinese culture practice courses. Traditional handicrafts, Paper Cuttings, pottery and other traditional Chinese culture experience courses are popular with international students.
In the activity class of “Language and Culture Practice Week“, the teacher led the students out of the classroom to carry out practice in the landmark of Nanning City. At the same time, the school regularly holds events such as the China ASEAN Vocational College Student Cooking Skills Competition and other cultural exchange activities.
At present, the cultivation of international students at NCVT has achieved three major transformations: from Chinese language learning to “language+technology“, from a single major to multiple majors, and from non academic education to academic education accounting for more than half of the total.
