On the afternoon of September 15, 2023, Secretary Wan Yongmin and a delegation from the Overseas Education College of Nanjing Tech University visited our company to inspect and guide our work. Both parties held a discussion and exchange meeting on topics such as cooperation in recruiting international students to study in China and the requirements for the 14th Five-Year Plan. During the meeting, preliminary cooperation intentions were reached, particularly in the areas of promoting study in China and recommending potential students. The discussion revolved around specific measures, relevant requirements, and the necessary policy support, leading to the formulation of initial cooperation plans.
Secretary Wan Yongmin and the delegation from the Overseas Education College of Nanjing Tech University, accompanied by COO Wang Liang of iStudy Education Group, visited various areas of our company, including the cultural wall and office spaces. They gained a comprehensive understanding of our company’s establishment, scope of business, and organizational operations. Subsequently, both parties engaged in discussions and exchanges concerning the promotion of studying in China, student recruitment, enrollment processes, and other related aspects, including the iiiT International Education Information Technology System.
During the meeting, Secretary Wan Yongmin introduced the university’s 14th Five-Year Plan and its international development requirements. She also conveyed the challenges the university currently faces in recruiting and managing international students. She expressed the hope that our cooperation could expand the channels for high-quality international students to study in China.
Wang Liang, COO of iStudy Education Group, presented the company’s development history, business scope, and the overall situation of international student recruitment for China. He also discussed ongoing promotion and student referral cooperation with other partner universities. In response to the university’s aspirations for international student recruitment, he proposed several effective and feasible solutions and suggestions.
During the meeting, both parties analyzed and discussed the promotion of studying in China, student recruitment, enrollment processes, and the iiiT International Education Information Technology System. After the meeting, based on the university’s actual situation and project planning for international students coming to China, they reached preliminary cooperation intentions. Discussions will continue around specific measures, relevant requirements, and necessary policy support to finalize the initial cooperation plans.
