As the Foreign Investment Law of China comes into effect, now the requirements are almost the same for the foreigners to register a company in China. However, it may take longer time, as the passport and other documents needs notarization and legalization in his/her home country. Also, I do not recommend to register WFOE, as the shareholder may be under more potential legal risks. Besides, the tax structure and tax planning will also be an issue.
