Listen to this article许棐。生卒年均不详，约宋理宗宝庆初前后在世。嘉熙中（公元1239年左右）隐于秦溪，筑小庄于溪北，植梅于屋之四檐，号曰梅屋。四壁储书数千卷，中悬白居易、苏轼二像事之。许棐著作颇多，《四库总目提要》谓其诗“沾染于江湖末派”，大抵以赵紫芝等为矩矱，以高翥等为羽翼，以书贾陈起为声气之联络，以刘克庄为领袖，“然其咏歌闲适，模写山林，时亦有新语可观”。
