Huang Chaoqin, the market development manager of the representative office, stated in an interview that he studied in China, worked in Power Construction, and developed in Indonesia. “This year marks the 10th anniversary of the initiative to jointly build the Belt and Road. The Belt and Road initiative has created a broad prospect for cooperation in co-building the country. When choosing a university, my family and I happened to choose Chinese universities. Now looking back, studying in China has brought me greater development space,” said Huang Chaoqin. In 2014, Huang Chaoqin entered Beihang University to study international economy and trade. During his four years of studying in China, Huang Chaoqin not only achieved success in his studies but also gained a deeper understanding of China.
“As an international student, I can feel deeply what ‘China’s speed‘ is, and the rapid development of various fields in China always makes me feel surging, “Huang Chaoqin said, “I have taken the Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Tianjin high-speed trains, and on the fast and smooth trains, the scenery passing through the window is pleasing to the eye. Even the high-speed train itself has become a beautiful scenery! Currently, Chinese companies are building the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, and China is helping the Indonesian railway to start the ‘high-speed era‘.”
In the spring of 2018, in order to meet the international talent needs of employers and facilitate internships, employment, and entrepreneurship for international students, the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education of China held the “Recruitment Fair for Study Abroad Talents in China“. At that time, Huang Chaoqin, who was in his fourth year of university, was facing graduation, and the job fair provided him with a rare employment opportunity. At the job fair, Huang Chaoqin delivered his resume to Power Construction Corporation of China and successfully received the employment notice after selection at all levels.
In his work, Huang Chaoqin is mainly responsible for contacting with Indonesian government agencies and local enterprises to help Power Construction Corporation of China find local partners and develop local markets. Due to his hard work, Huang Chaoqin made rapid progress and received recognition from his colleagues. “I am delighted to be an employee of a Chinese company. Every day I work here is both challenging and exciting, “Huang Chaoqin said. Chinese companies value efficient collaboration and have strong international competitiveness. “The spirit of everyone working together to achieve the same goal has greatly inspired me.”
Huang Chaoqin said that Indonesia is striving to accelerate the development of infrastructure, energy, water resources, and mining, which has opened up broad development space for cooperation between Indonesia and China. Chinese enterprises rooted in Indonesia have created valuable opportunities for Indonesia’s development and also promoted the continuous development of bilateral relations. Huang Chaoqin stated that he will base himself on his own work and contribute to promoting friendly exchanges between Indonesia and China.
