鉴赏

  韩偓《香奁集》里有许多反映男女情爱的诗歌,这是最为脍炙人口的一篇。其好处全在于艺术构思精巧,笔意含蓄。

  展现在读者眼前的,是一间华丽精致的卧室。镜头由室外逐渐移向室内,透过门前的阑干、当门的帘幕、门内的屏风等一道道障碍,聚影在那张铺着龙须草席和织锦被褥的八尺大床上。房间结构安排所显示出的这种“深而曲”的层次,分明告诉读者这是一位贵家少妇的金闺绣户。

  布局以外,景物吸引读者视线的,是那斑驳陆离、秾艳夺目的色彩。翠绿的栏槛,猩红的画屏,门帘上的彩绣,被面的锦缎光泽,合组成一派旖旎温馨的气象,不仅增添了卧室的华贵势派,还为主人公的闺情绮思酝酿了合适的氛围。主人公始终未露面,她在做什么、想什么也不得而知。但朱漆屏面上雕绘着的折枝图,却不由得使人生发出“花开堪折直须折,莫待无花空折枝”(无名氏《金缕衣》)的感叹。面对这幅画图,主人公不可能不有感于自己的逝水流年,而将大好青春同画中鲜花联系起来加以比较、思索,更何况而今又到了一年当中季节转换的时候。门前帘幕低垂,簟席上增加被褥,表明暑热已退,秋凉刚降。这样的时刻最容易勾起人们对光阴消逝的感触,在主人公的心灵上又将激起阵阵波澜。诗篇结尾用重笔点出“已凉天气未寒时”的时令变化,当然不会出于无意。配上床席、锦褥的暗示以及折枝图的烘托,主人公在深闺寂寞之中渴望爱情的情怀,也就隐约可见了。

  通篇没有一个字涉及“情”,甚至没有一个字触及“人”,纯然借助环境景物来渲染人的情思,供读者玩味。这类命意曲折、用笔委婉的情诗,在唐人诗中还是不多见的。这首小诗之所以广为传诵,原因或在于此。无论从题材旨趣,还是从手法、风格上讲,这首小诗都开启了五代两宋闺情词缛丽婉约的先河。▲

There are many poems reflecting the love between men and women in Han Xian’s Collection of Toilet Boxes, which is the most popular one. Its advantages lie in the exquisite artistic conception and implicit brushwork.
What is displayed in front of readers is a gorgeous and exquisite bedroom. The camera moves gradually from the outdoor to the indoor. Through the barriers such as the curtain in front of the door, the curtain in front of the door, and the screen in the door, the camera focuses on the eight foot bed covered with bearded grass mat and brocade quilt. The arrangement of the room structure shows the level of “deep and melodious”, which clearly tells the reader that this is a golden boudoir embroiderer of a young lady in your family.
Outside the layout, what attracts the readers’ attention is the colorful and gaudy colors. The green fence, the scarlet screen, the colorful embroidery on the door curtain, and the brocade luster on the quilt form a beautiful and warm atmosphere, which not only adds to the luxurious style of the bedroom, but also brews a suitable atmosphere for the heroine’s boudoir. The hero never showed up, and what she was doing and thinking was unknown. However, the broken branches carved on the vermilion paint screen can not help but make people sigh that “if the flowers can be folded straight, they must be folded. Don’t wait for the empty broken branches without flowers” (Anonymous’s “Golden Thread Clothes”). In the face of this painting, the hero can’t help feeling his own passing time, and compare and think about the great youth with the flowers in the painting, not to mention the time of season change in the middle of the year. The curtain in front of the door is low, and bedding is added on the mat, indicating that the summer heat has subsided and the autumn cool has just fallen. Such moments are most likely to evoke people’s feelings about the passing of time, and will stir up waves in the hero’s mind. At the end of the poem, the seasonal change of “when it is cold but not cold” is pointed out with heavy pen, certainly not unintentionally. With the hint of the bed mat and brocade mattress and the contrast of the broken branches, the protagonist’s yearning for love in the lonely boudoir is also vaguely visible.
There is not a word about “feeling”, or even a word about “people” in the whole article. It simply uses the environment to exaggerate people’s feelings for readers to ponder. This kind of love poems with tortuous fate and tactful brushwork are rare in Tang poetry. This may be the reason why this little poem is widely read. From the perspective of theme, technique and style, this little poem is the first of the beautiful and graceful boudoir lyrics of the Five Dynasties and the Two Songs. ▲
