郭靖和黄蓉沿着运河南下,一日来到太湖边上,郭靖从未见过如此大水,与黄蓉携手立在湖边,只见长天远波,放眼皆碧,不禁仰天大叫,极感喜乐。

两人划桨过去,只见那渔人也收了钓竿,将船划来。那渔人道:“湖上喜遇佳客,请过来共饮一杯如何?”郭黄应诺,跨上渔舟船头,与那渔人作揖见礼。那渔人坐着还礼,说道:“在下腿上有病,不能起立,请两位恕罪。”
When the two men rowed past, the fisherman also collected the fishing rod and rowed the boat. The fisherman said, “I like to meet good guests on the lake. How about having a drink with you?” Guo Huang promised to step on the bow of the fishing boat and bow to the fisherman. The fisherman sat down and said, “I’m sick in my lower leg. I can’t stand up. 三人举盏对饮。黄蓉与渔人谈起诗词,甚是投机。那渔人佩服黄蓉,心下自是喜欢,便邀两人去庄上盘桓数日。郭凊与黄蓉欣然答应。
