A reporter asked: According to reports, on July 4, the first batch of Honduran students accepted by Chinaleft Taiwan and arrived in mainland China to start their new study life.
Wang Wenbin: After the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Honduras, China promised to accept all Honduran students in Taiwan to study on the mainland. In the past three months since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the first batch of 26 Honduran students left Taiwan yesterday and arrived in Beijing, Tianjin and Xi’an to start their new study life. The Honduran students are looking forward to their study in mainland China and said they will work hard to learn their professions, gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and contribute to the development and progress of Honduras and the friendly exchanges between China and Honduras. China welcomes more Honduran students to study in mainland China and is willing to expand exchanges and cooperation with the Honduran side in the humanities field, so as to pave the way for friendship and build a bridge between the two countries.
