Hoang Thi HanhTrang(黄幸庄), a Vietnamese PHD graduate from the School of International Relations of Renmin University of China, said that in recent years, China’s scientific and technological innovation has attracted extensive attention from the world and promoted the development and progress of the world.

In 2017, Hoang Thi HanhTrang, deeply attracted by the unique charm of Chinese culture, came to China to study as a postgraduate in the School of International Relations of Renmin University of China. After six years of study, Hoang received a professional master’s degree in international relations in June 2019 and a doctor’s degree in foreign affairs in June 2023. As a representative of international students, he spoke at the graduation ceremony of Renmin University of China.

Hoang Xingzhuang said that over the years, studying and living in China has not only greatly improved her personal ability, but also enabled her to have a deeper understanding of Chinese people, Chinese culture and modern Chinese society. At the same time, she is in China and can also introduce Vietnam to friends around the world.

In just a few decades, under the leadership of the CPC, China has created many miracles of economic and social development. The CPC has adhered to and developed the path of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, and promoted and expanded Chinese-style modernization, which is the key to China’s success.” Talking about China’s development over the years, Hoang stated with emotion.

In Hoang’s view, in recent years, China has undergone tremendous changes and achieved great achievements, gradually joining the ranks of world powers. “For example, in my life, technological innovations such as high-speed rail, mobile payment, e-commerce, and shared bicycles have all attracted the attention of the world.

Hoang believes that the tremendous changes in China have also driven the development and progress of the world. The “Belt and Road” initiative actively promotes policy communication, facility connectivity, smooth trade, financial integration, and heart to heart connectivity, creating new opportunities for common development of all countries. She believes that for developing countries such as China and Vietnam, the “Belt and Road” initiative can become an effective framework for sustainable development.

In addition, Hoang also mentioned that China’s education industry has achieved many outstanding achievements in recent years. “This is not only reflected in the rising ranking of some Chinese College and university rankings, but also in the determination of the CPC and the Chinese government to carry out education with characteristics.” She believes that more and more Vietnamese students like her choose to study in China, which will bring more educational cooperation opportunities for Vietnam and China.
