Vietnamese Student in China: The CPC is the Key to China’s Success
China News, July 6, a Vietnamese PhD graduate from the School of International Relations of Renmin University of China (RUC), said in a recent interview with China News that in recent years, China’s scientific and technological innovation has attracted wide global attention and promoted the development and progress of the world.
In 2017, Hoang Thi Hanh Trang, who was fascinated by the unique charm of Chinese culture, came to China to pursue postgraduate studies at the School of International Relations of Renmin University of China. After six years of study, Huang Xingzhuang received his Master’s degree in International Relations in June 2019 and his PhD in Diplomacy in June 2023, and as a representative of international students, he spoke at the graduation ceremony of Renmin University of China.
Huang Xingzhuang said that over the years, studying and living in China has not only allowed her to significantly improve her personal skills, but has also given her a deeper understanding of the Chinese people, Chinese culture and modern Chinese society. At the same time, while she was in China, she was able to introduce Vietnam to friends around the world.
“In just a few decades, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, China has created many miracles of economic and social development. The CPC’s adherence to and development of the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, advancing and expanding Chinese-style modernization, has been the key to China’s ability to succeed.” Talking about China’s development over the years, Huang Xingzhuang lamented.
In Huang Xingzhuang’s view, China has undergone tremendous changes and made great achievements in recent years, gradually ranking among the world’s powerhouses. “In terms of the examples I have come across in my life, technological innovations such as high-speed rail, mobile payment, e-commerce and bike-sharing have attracted worldwide attention.”
According to Huang Xingzhuang, China’s tremendous changes have also driven the world’s development and progress. “The Belt and Road Initiative actively promotes policy communication, facility connectivity, smooth trade, financial integration and people-to-people contact, creating new opportunities for the common development of all countries. She believes that for developing countries like China and Vietnam, the Belt and Road Initiative can be an effective framework for sustainable development.
In addition, Huang Xingzhuang mentioned that China’s education sector has also made many outstanding achievements in recent years. “This is not only reflected in the rising ranking of some Chinese universities, but also in the determination of the Communist Party and the Chinese government to develop education with special characteristics.” She believes that more and more Vietnamese students are now choosing to study in China, as she did, which will bring more opportunities for educational cooperation between Vietnam and China.
