谁将罂粟花种于路旁
任令它生长
纯良的他不知花险恶
沉溺在它的幽香

犹在慢慢欣赏

沾上它大好壮志会颓丧
沾上它健康快慰也尽丧
将花烧光不许生世上
罂粟花偏偏艳丽象斜阳

Who raises the opium poppies in the roadside
Leaving them grow
So kind but naive, he can’t see the evil of them
And wallows in their aroma

So kind but naive, he can’t see the evil of them
And still enjoys their beauty

If addicted, one will become decadent
If addicted, one will lose health and comfort as well
Burn out the poppies in case they remain in this world
Though they’re so beautiful as the setting sun indeed
