Cao Ye: Hamsters in Government-Owned Barns ~ 《官仓鼠》 曹邺 with English Translations

Listen to this article

Hamsters in Government-Owned Barns
By Cao Ye

Each of those barn hamsters is about the size of a pail,
They are not man-shy because they in government barns stay.
At the same time all soldiers and civilians are hungry,
Who lets them eat government grain at their will day by day?
