Nanjing Shuangri Education Technology Invited to Participate in the Global in Services Summit Sub-venue International Education Service Trade Cooperation Forum

On September 21, 2023, the 2023 Global in Services Summit was co-hosted by the International Trade and Economic Cooperation Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Nanjing. The event was jointly organized by the International Service Trade Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce, and the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. The conference took place at the Jinling Hotel in Nanjing. Deputy Minister of Commerce Guo Tingting delivered a video speech, and Mayor Chen Zhichang, as well as Chai Xiaolin, Director of the World Trade Organization’s Department of Trade in Services and Investment, also gave speeches. Deng Zhiyi, a member of the Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor, was in attendance.

The theme of this conference was “Innovating Services Trade for a Better Future.” It revolved around the creation of a national service trade innovation development demonstration zone, promoting the digital transformation of service trade, establishing an international platform for service trade exchange and cooperation, and accelerating Nanjing’s collaboration with countries worldwide to enhance its international influence and brand competitiveness in the field of service trade. During the conference, specialized events were held, including the Digital Service Innovation and Development Forum, the International Education Service Trade Cooperation Forum, and the Digital Trade International Cooperation Matchmaking Session.

On September 21, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Beijing time), Nanjing Shuangri Education Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to participate in the International Education Service Trade Cooperation Forum, a sub-event of the 2023 Global Services Trade Conference, held on the second floor of the Asia-Pacific Business Building at the Jinling Hotel in Nanjing. The forum was attended by a total of 150 participants, including experts, scholars, prominent entrepreneurs in the field of international education service trade, and foreign students, making it a grand and collaborative event.

Zhang Xu, Vice President of the Translation Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and Dean of the International Education College of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine Topic: “Constructing a New Pattern of International Education in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Cultivating New Momentum for Global Cooperation”
  4. Chen Shangkun, Deputy General Manager of Shunyu Information Technology Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu Province Topic: “Gathering Global Talent Intelligence to Support Companies in Going Global”

This dialogue involved collaboration and discussions among international education service trade experts, scholars, and well-known entrepreneurs in various related fields. They discussed the opportunities and challenges in China’s international education development in recent years, the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, external demands for international education, service capabilities, and explored new paths for the integration of production and education in international education in China from various angles.

This year’s conference placed a strong emphasis on the new developments in international education service trade cooperation. Through service trade showcases, report releases, special activities, and high-level dialogues, the conference aimed to enhance the international influence and urban brand competitiveness of “Nanjing Service Trade.” It also sought to provide global wisdom and experience to accelerate and elevate the process of service trade cooperation in the city, seize opportunities for educational development, and enhance the development momentum of service trade in Nanjing, working towards a better future of high-quality service trade development.
