Autumn on River Fen

Su Ting

The north wind blows white clouds away;

Crossing the river, I can’t stay.

My heart sinks with the fallen leaves.

How deep the song of autumn grieves!

This poem is written by the poet Su forehead of the Tang Dynasty. The poem is about the poet’s surprise at the coming of autumn on the Fen River, expressing his feelings of late autumn and reflecting the deep historical and cultural connotations of the Fenshang area. The poem adopts a vague and realistic approach, as if it is a vague and real poem, as if it is clear but obscure, and as if it is a poem about the complex feelings of the poet.
