庭院深深深几许[1]。
杨柳堆烟[2]，
帘幕无重数。
玉勒雕鞍游冶处[3]，
楼高不见章台路[4]。
雨横[5]风狂三月暮。
门掩黄昏，
无计留春住。
泪眼问花花不语，
乱红[6]飞过秋千去。

[2]堆烟：烟雾堆积笼罩。堆，堆积、聚拢、笼罩。
[3]“玉勒”句：玉勒，美玉镶的带嚼子的马笼头。雕鞍，雕绘花饰的马鞍。玉勒雕鞍，代指华贵的车马。游冶处，指歌楼妓院。
[4]章台路：原为汉代长安城西南街，唐许尧佐《章台柳传》写章台妓女柳氏故事，后遂用为游冶之地的代称。
[5]横：凶残狂暴。
[6]乱红：零乱的落花。

Deep, deep the courtyard where he is, so deep
It’s veiled by smokelike willows heap on heap,
By curtain on curtain and screen on screen.
Leaving his saddle and bridle, there he has been
Merry-making. From my tower his trace can’t be seen.
The third moon now, the wind and rain are raging late;
At dusk I bar the gate,
But I can’t bar in spring.
My tearful eyes ask flowers, but they fail to bring
An answer, I see red blooms fly over the swing.

《蝶恋花·庭院深深深几许》是南唐词人冯延巳（一说宋代文学家欧阳修）的词作。此词描写闺中少妇的伤春之情。上片写少妇深闺寂寞，阻隔重重，想见意中人而不得；下片写美人迟暮，盼意中人回归而不得，幽恨怨愤之情自现。全词写景状物，疏俊委曲，虚实相融，用语自然，辞意深婉，对少妇心理刻画写意尤为传神。
“Butterflies in Love with Flowers” is a lyric by Feng Yansi (or Ouyang Xiu, a writer of Song Dynasty). It describes the sadness of a young woman in a boudoir in spring. The first piece is about the loneliness of the young woman in her boudoir and the many barriers that prevent her from wanting to meet her lover; the second piece is about the beauty in her twilight years, hoping for the return of her lover and not being able to, so the feelings of hatred and resentment appear. The entire lyrics are written in a natural way, with natural language and deep and gentle diction, and the psychological portrayal of the young woman is particularly impressive.
