凛凛岁云暮，蝼蛄[2]夕鸣悲。
凉风率已厉[3]，游子寒无衣。
锦衾遗洛浦[4]，同袍[5]与我违。
独宿累[6]长夜，梦想见容辉。
良人惟古欢[7]，枉驾惠前绥[8]，
愿得长巧笑[9]，携手同车归。
既来不须臾，又不处重闱[10]；
亮无晨风翼，焉能凌风飞？
眄睐[11]以适意，引领遥相睎[12]。
徙倚[13]怀感伤，垂涕沾双扉。
注释：
[1] 凛凛：十分寒冷。此句从年岁将近天气寒冷写起。
[2] 蝼蛄：一种害虫，夜晚喜欢靠近灯光飞鸣。
[3] 厉：猛烈。
[4] 洛浦：洛水边，相传宓妃淹死在洛水中，后来成了洛神。这句是猜疑丈夫在外别有所恋。
[5] 同袍：本指战友，这里代指丈夫。
[6] 累：积累，许多。
[7] 良人：古代妇女对丈夫的尊称。古欢：指旧的欢爱之人。
[8] 绥：挽人上车的绳索。结婚时，丈夫驾着车去迎接妻子，把车绥给她，引她上去。
[9] 巧笑：是妇女美的一种姿态，这是对丈夫亲近的表示。
[10] 重闱：指深闺。
[11] 眄睐：斜着眼睛看。
[12] 引领：伸着脖子，凝神远望的形象。睎：望见。

Why of my mate am I bereft?
Lonely I stay through the long night.

Can you forget our wedding day:
You gave me reins on homeward way?
I wish we’d live long side by side,
Come back hand in hand in our ride.
You came in dream not for an hour,
Nor would you stay long in my bower.
Awake, I have no wings to fly.
How can I rise with the wind high?
I try to please you from afar,
And crane my neck toward where you are.
Leaning at the gate, I deplore;
My tears fall and moisten the door.
