银烛[2]吐清烟，
金尊[3]对绮筵[4]。
离堂思琴瑟[5]，
别路[6]绕山川。
明月隐高树。
长河[7]没[8]晓天。
悠悠[9]洛阳去，
此会在何年？
注释：
[1] 《千家诗》注说：“此子昂居蜀，有入洛之行，友人张筵以饯之，临别而赠主人以诗也。言子之饯我于春夜也，银烛之光，清烟缭绕；金尊之举，绮席珍罗。高堂之乐，奏琴瑟以动离思；去路迢遥，有万里山川之远。是以留恋通宵，不忍分手。明月西下隐蔽于高树，天欲晓而银河渐没矣。承子之饯后；吾则悠悠道涂向洛阳而去矣。归期难定，不知再会于何年也。”这是一首典型的写景赠别诗。

Farewell to a Friend on a Spring Night

The candles bright exhale smoke light;
We drink goodbye in a feast high.
The hall is mute to echo lute;
I’ll go round hills and winding rills.
The bright moon sees a veil of trees;
The river long hears morning song.
I cannot stay but go my way,
And wish in vain to meet again.
《春夜别友人二首》是唐代诗人陈子昂的组诗作品。这两首诗约作于武则天光宅元年（684年）春。第一首诗写作者第一次离开家乡赴东都洛阳告别宴会上的场景，充满了对朋友的依依惜别之情；第二首诗同样作于告别宴会，诗人向友人坦露心胸，倾吐其为国建功立业的宏愿。
Two Poems of “Farewell to a Friend on a Spring Night” is a group of poems by Chen Ziang, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. These two poems were written in the spring of 684, the first year of Wu Zetian’s Guangzai reign. The first poem is about the first time the poet left his hometown for a farewell banquet in Luoyang, the eastern capital of China, and is filled with the feeling of farewell to his friend; the second poem is also written at the farewell banquet, in which the poet reveals his heart to his friend and confides his ambition to build a successful career for his country.
