和贾舍人早朝
岑参[1]
鸡鸣紫陌曙光[2]寒，
莺啭皇州[3]春色阑。
金阙[4]晓钟开万户[5]，
玉阶仙仗[6]拥千官[7]。
花迎剑星初落[8]，
柳拂旌旗露未干。
独有凤凰池上客[9]，
阳春[10]一曲和更难。
注释：
[1] 岑参：盛唐的边塞诗人。《千家诗》注说：“此亦和前题。言鸡鸣于紫禁而曙色已光，莺啼于皇州而三春将暮。晓钟动而万户齐开，仙仗齐而千官肃静。百花迎乎剑珮，星光初落；绿柳拂于旌旗，露湿未干。斯时也，独羡凤凰池上之舍人，退朝从容，草诏方毕而赋诗为乐，才调之高如阳春白雪，使人欲和而未能也。”岑参和诗最后一句说贾至的诗好比《阳春白雪》，曲高和寡，评价最高。

Cen Shen
At cockcrow twilight chills the royal purple lanes;
Orioles trill in the capital when spring wanes.
When royal bells chime at dawn, opens door on door;
To guarded jade steps come officials more and more.
When stars begin to fade, swords clink by flowers’ side;
The willow twigs caress the flags with dew undried.
Alone the poet on the Phoenix Pool will sing;
None could equal him on his song of Sunny Spring.
