重过圣女祠[1]
白石岩扉碧藓滋，
上清沦谪得归迟。
一春梦雨常飘瓦，
尽日灵风不满旗。
萼绿华来无定所，
杜兰香[2]去未移时。
玉郎[3]会此通仙籍，
忆向天阶问紫芝。
古代有不少关于天上神女谪降人间的传说，诗人很自然地由眼前这座幽寂的圣女祠产生诸多联想。有人说诗人是托圣女以自寓，借咏圣女而抒发身世沉沦之感慨。诗歌的意境在缥缈中显出沉郁，成功地塑造了一位沦谪不归、幽居无托的圣女形象。

[1]圣女祠：或以为陈仓（今陕西宝鸡市东）的圣女神祠，或以为托喻女道士居住的道观。
[2]萼绿华，杜兰香：传说中女仙名。
[3]玉郎：道家所称天上掌管神仙名册的官吏。
Passing Again the Temple of a Goddess
Over your door of white rock I see green moss grow;
You’re banished from the paradise where you can’t go.
The dreaming vernal rains with your tiles often play;
The wonder-working wind won’t swell your flag all day.
There is no place to shelter fair Emerald Flower,
And fragrant Orchid won’t stay here more than an hour.
The Registrar of Jade knows you come from on high.
Let miraculous herb bring you back to the sky!
Note:The poet reveals his sympathy with the Goddess banished from the sky as Adam and Eve driven out of the Paradise after eating of the fruit of wisdom.
