江汉
江汉思归客，
乾坤一腐儒[1]。
片云天共远，
永夜月同孤。
落日[2]心犹壮，
秋风病欲苏[3]。
古来存[4]老马[5]，
不必取长途。
公元768年正月，杜甫自夔州出三峡，流寓江陵等地，写了《江汉》一诗。诗人思归而不能归，成了天涯沦落人。在天地之间，犹如白云一样遥远，仿佛夜月一样孤独。虽然到了夕阳晚境，但是心还未老；西风一起，病体反倒复苏了。他感到自己像识途的老马，尽管无力再走长途，但还是可供驱驰的。这首《江汉》抒发了诗人怀才见弃的不平之气和报国思用的怀抱，情景交融，有强烈的艺术感染力。

On River Han
On River Han my home thoughts fly,
Bookworm with worldly ways in fright.
The cloud and I share the vast sky;
I’m lonely as the moon all night,
My heart won’t sink with sinking sun;
Autumn wind blows illness away.
A jaded horse may not have done,
Though it cannot go a long way.
《江汉》是唐代大诗人杜甫创作的五言律诗。该诗描写了诗人漂泊在江汉一带的所见所感，以及自己并未因处境困顿和年老多病而悲观消沉，集中地表现了“烈士暮年，壮心不已”的精神。全诗虽委婉含蓄地表意，但十分感人。
“On River Han” is a poem in five lines written by Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty. The poem describes what the poet saw and felt while wandering in the area of Jianghan, and how he did not become pessimistic and depressed due to his difficult situation and old age, and concentrates on the spirit of “a martyr in his twilight years has a strong heart. Although the poem is euphemistic and subtle, it is very touching.
