谢灵运
可怜[1]谁家妇？
缘流[2]洒素足[3]。
明月在云间，
迢迢[4]不可得。
可怜谁家郎？
缘流乘素舸[5]。
但问情若为[6]，
月就云中堕。
注释：
[1] 可怜：可爱。
[2] 缘流：随着水流。
[3] 素足：形容脚之洁白。
[4] 迢迢：遥远。
[5] 素舸：指没有油漆的木船。
[6] 若为：如何。
Exchange of Verse on the Stream
Xie Lingyun
(Ⅰ) Young Man:
How lovely is the maiden sweet,
Washing in the stream her white feet!
She’s like the bright moon o’er the cloud;
To reach her I am not allowed.
(Ⅱ) Maiden:
How pleasing is the young man bright,
Spreading on the stream his sail white!
Should you ask me if you’re allowed,
See the moon sinks into the cloud!
