Mortal World

What comes after a storm is not necessarily a beautiful sky
Clear skies do not necessarily foreshadow rainbows
And so just because you appear clueless, doesn’t mean that you really are
Not all relationships have clear beginnings and ends
It’s not necessarily scary to end up alone
In life, those initial growing pains are unavoidable
May your eyes see only smiles
May every tear you shed move another’s soul
May every dream you dream from this point on not be dreamed in vain

If there’s something worth extolling about the heavens and this mortal world,
It’s you- for it’s because you’re here that this is an exciting place to be
The sky and land are so vast; the world is more inscrutable than you can imagine

《人间》是王菲演唱歌曲，收录在1997年发行的同名专辑《王菲》。这首歌由中岛美雪作曲，Adrian Chan编曲，林夕作词，为王菲量身打造，并由王菲首唱。后来中岛美雪根据原曲重新填词作了一首《清流》。收录在中岛美雪1998年发行的专辑《わたしの子供になりなさい》。2015年电影《陪安东尼度过漫长岁月》选用由王菲演唱的原版中文版作为电影插曲以及宣传曲目。
