（二首其一）
曹植
步登北邙阪[1]，遥望洛阳山[2]。
洛阳何寂寞，宫室尽烧焚。
垣墙皆顿擗[3]，荆棘上参天。
不见旧耆老[4]，但睹新少年。
侧足无行径，荒畴不复田[5]。
游子久不归，不识陌与阡。
中野[6]何萧条，千里无人烟。
念我平常居[7]，气结不能言。
注释：
[1] 北邙坂：北邙山的山坡。北邙山在洛阳城北，是汉代王公贵族们的陵墓群集之地，也是汉代以后历代文人最爱对之感慨兴衰的地方。
[2] 洛阳山：洛阳周围的山。这句话的意思实际是指眺望洛阳一带地区。
[3] 顿擗：倒塌，崩裂。擗，剖，裂。
[4] 耆老：老人。
[5] 荒畴：荒芜了的土地。田：耕种，用作动词。
[6] 中野：田间荒野之地。
[7] 平常居：平时一起生活的人。
Parting With Ying at Luoyang[1](I)
Cao Zhi
We climb on foot up Northern Hill
And gaze from far on Luoyang town.
The ruined capital looks still;
All the palaces were burned down.
Walls and fence rows gaping and torn,
Brambles and thorns spread to the sky.
No more old men in dress out-worn,
All we meet are young passers-by.
We cannot sidle the pathway;
The wilderness will nothing yield.
If far away you long did stay,
You could not find the path afield.
How bleak and bare the Central Plain!
No cooking fires for miles around.
Thinking of our former domain,
My breath chokes up, I am dumb found.

[1] The Luoyang palaces had been burned in 190 by Dong Zhuo and the city suffered terribly in the civil war that ensued.
