过始宁墅
谢灵运
束发怀耿介，逐物遂推迁。
违志似如昨，二纪[1]及兹年[2]。
缁磷[3]谢清旷，疲薾[4]惭贞坚。
拙疾相倚薄，还得静者便。
剖竹守沧海，枉[5]帆过旧山。
山行穷登顿，水涉尽洄沿。
岩峭岭稠叠，洲萦[6]渚[7]连绵。
白云抱幽石，绿筿媚清涟。
葺宇临回江，筑观基曾巅。
挥手告乡曲，三载期旋归。
且为树枌槚，无令孤愿言。
注释：
[1] 二纪：约二十多年。
[2] 兹年：今年。
[3] 缁磷：比喻君子虽在浊乱而不污。后来也以“缁磷”比喻操守不坚贞。
[4] 薾：指花繁盛鲜艳。
[5] 枉：使弯曲，弯曲。
[6] 萦：围绕，缠绕。
[7] 渚：水中小块陆地。
Passing My Ancestral Estate
Xie Lingyun
While young, I would be right and fair,
But tarried then in worldly care against my will till yesterday,
When twenty years have passed away.
Blackened and ground, can I be bright?
Tired and spent, I’m shamed by the upright.
Now dull and ill, I come again to see my quiet old domain.
Ordered to rule over the seaside,
To my ancestral house I ride. I come uphill and down the vale;
Upstream and downstream I set sail.
High mountains spread for miles and miles;
The stream is dotted with isles on isles.
White clouds embrace the boulders steep;
Green ripples lull bamboos to sleep.
I will rethatch my roof and rest
In my cottage on mountain crest.
To villagers I wave my hand:
“In three years I’ll come to this land.
Try to plant elms and coffin-trees!
Don’t neglect this wish of mine, please!”
