苏轼
徐州石潭谢雨，道上作五首。潭在城东二十里，常与泗水增减清浊相应。
旋抹红妆看使君[1]，
三三五五棘篱门[2]，
相挨踏破蒨[3]罗裙。
老幼扶携收麦社[4]，
乌鸢[5]翔舞赛神[6]村，
道逢醉叟卧黄昏。
注释：
[1]“旋抹”句：旋，临时赶忙、急就。使君，汉时对州郡长官的称呼，此为苏轼自指。
[2]棘篱门：用荆棘编成篱笆的门。
[3]蒨：草名，可做红色染料。此处指红色。
[4]收麦社：收麦时节祭祀土地神。
[5]鸢：老鹰。赛神会有祭品，故鸟类围绕飞翔，伺机觅食。
[6]赛神：用仪仗、箫鼓、杂戏迎神的活动。又称“赛会”。

Maidens make up in haste to see the magistrate;
By threes and fives they come out at their hedgerow gate.
They push and squeeze and trample each other’s skirt red.
Villagers old and young to celebration are led;
With crows and kites they dance thanksgiving in array.
At dusk I see an old man lie drunk on the way.

Rongxi Sha – Five Songs on the Way to Xumen Shitan to Thank the Rain” is a composition by Su Shi, a writer of the Song Dynasty. The lyrics are mainly about what the author saw, heard and felt on the way, describing the rural scenery with vivid strokes, reflecting the emotions of the peasants, rejoicing over their joy and sympathizing with their sufferings. The main artistic feature is the use of poetic syntax in the words. The style of writing is simple, the tone is fresh, no gaudy rhetoric, no out-of-the-way tropes, the language is clear and natural, and the true simplicity can be seen in the washing away of flamboyance. These five words brought rural themes into the Northern Song lyric world, bringing a simple and fresh local flavor to the lyric world and creating a good literary style for the development of rural words, completely breaking through the fence of “words as a showy subject” in terms of subject matter, with pioneering significance.
