黄初元年（220年）曹丕上位，称帝为魏文帝。由于争封太子这段经历让曹丕无法释怀，在他称帝后，他仍对曹植耿耿于怀，就想方设法要除掉他。曹植知道哥哥存心陷害自己，可自己无法开脱，只好在极度悲愤中七步之内应声成诗。
Creation background
In the first year of the early Yellow Dynasty (220 years), Cao Pi ascended the throne and was called Emperor Wei Wen. Cao Pi could not let go of the experience of fighting for the crown prince. After he became emperor, he still felt bitter about Cao Zhi, so he tried to kill him. Cao Zhi knew that his brother had deliberately framed him, but he could not excuse himself, so he had to write a poem within seven steps of extreme grief and indignation.
