石壁精舍[1]还湖中作
谢灵运
昏旦变气候，山水含清晖。
清晖能娱人，游子憺[2]忘归。
出谷日尚早，入舟阳已微。
林壑敛[3]暝色，云霞收夕霏[4]。
芰荷迭映蔚[5]，蒲稗相因依。
披拂[6]趋南径，愉悦偃东扉[7]。
虑澹物自轻，意惬理无违。
寄言摄生客[8]，试用此道推。
注释：
[1] 精舍：这里指佛寺。石壁精舍在始宁县（今浙江上虞县）东南。诗题中的湖指巫湖，谢灵运曾在《游名山志》中提到：“湖三面悉高山枕水渚，山溪涧凡有五处，南第一谷今在所谓石壁精舍。”
[2] 憺：安闲的样子。
[3] 敛：聚集。
[4] 霏：云气。
[5] 迭映蔚：光色互相映照。
[6] 披拂：指急行时引起空气流动，有凉风拂拂之感。
[7] 偃东扉：在东轩的门前歇息。
[8] 摄生客：注意保养生命的人。
Written on the Lake, Returning from Stone Clif
Xie Lingyun
The weather changes morning and night;
Mountain and lake with radiance beam.
Their radiance clear gives me delight;
I forget to go home downstream.
I left the vale the sun still crowned;
At sunset I come back by boat.
In twilight woods and vale are drowned;
In evening mist colored clouds float.
Green lotus leaves and caltrops sway;
Dark reeds and cattails lean before.
I hurry back on southern way;
Happy, I rest behind east door.
Unworried, you make light of things;
Content, you won’t go against reason.

Please try to take my word in season!
