so chinese is my second language and some meanings of this song is lost in the translation even though i tried to make it as accurate as possible you’d understand if you watched the movie, it can be found online with english subtitles. just search for big fish and begonia, this song was written for it.

This is a song about a Chinese myth , the girl is not a human , just like a little god. She becomes a red fish and comes to a human place , falls in love with a human , but still kills him indirectly. And then the girl wants to revive him. The human becomes a fish. When time goes by , the fish gets bigger and bigger. He needs go to a human place to change back to a human. The story tells they have to separate.
