冰心 《一句话》
那天湖上是漠漠的清阴，
湿烟盖住了泼剌的游鳞。
东风沉静地抚着我的肩头，
“且慢，你先别说出那一句话！”
那夜天上是密密的乱星，
树头栖隐着双宿的娇禽。
南风戏弄地挨着我的腮旁，
“完了，你竟说出那一句话！”
那夜湖上是凄恻的月明，
水面横飞着闪烁的秋萤。
西风温存地按着我的嘴唇，
“何必，你还思索那一句话！”
今天天上是呼呼的风沙，
风里哀唤着失伴的惊鸦？
北风严肃地擦着我的眼睛，
“晚了，你要收回那句话？”

That day the lake was a vast spread of light haze
That muffled the romping fish in the water as
The east wind silently stroked my shoulders,
“Wait! Don’t blurt out the phrase!”
That night beneath the sky swarming with stars,
A pair of young birds hid high atop the tree as
The south wind playfully rubbed against my check,
“It’s done! You’ve uttered the phrase!”
That night there was a sad moon on the lake
Where autumn fireflies flitted and glowed as
The west wind tenderly touched my lips,
“Why do you still brood over that phrase?”
Today the windswept stands whistle in the sky,
The startled crow mourns its lost mate in the winds, and
The north wind solemnly wipes my eyes,
“It’s too late to retrieve that phrase now, isn’t it?”
