Because of its popularity and research programs, the enrollments in the university are getting harder. Peking University is one of the universities in China with the lowest acceptance rates. Almost 40,000 are currently enrolled in the various degree programs and about 2000 international students are getting admission to the university every year.
1.1 Application qualification:
Non-Chinese citizens aged 18-45 years old, first-year or above, in good health, holding a valid foreign passport.
1.2 Application steps:
1.2.1 Register online.
Log in to the online registration system of international students of Peking University (website) http://www.studyatpku.com ), fill in the application form, submit and print it.
Note: for Chinese learners, please choose “Institute of education for Chinese as a foreign language” when filling in the application; For advanced students studying professional courses, please select “professional department” when filling in the application.
1.2.2 Submit application materials.
- Application form for general refresher students. Please print the application form and paste photos after online registration.
- The final certificate of education or certificate of study and transcript must be in Chinese or English or notarized.
- Personal statement (including study plan), written in Chinese or English, 500-1000 words.
- The written recommendation of two associate professors (or equivalent positions) shall be in Chinese or English.
- the documents that have been obtained to prove the Chinese Proficiency (if not, they may not be provided).
- A copy of the passport, which must be an ordinary passport within the validity period.

Nanjing University is one of the best public universities present in China. It was founded in 1902 as Sanjiang Normal School. It attained the status of university in 1950. Shanghai Ranking ranked Nanjing University as the 7th best university in China. It is very well known for its strict admission criteria and is considered the most selective university in China. This explains its low acceptance rate.
The university offers graduate and undergraduate degree programs and courses. Most of the programs are also offered in the Chinese language.
2.1 Application qualification:
The applicant should be over 18 years old, graduated from high school or above, with good grades, in good health, and not a Chinese citizen;
2.2 Application process:
After applying, please check the station letter and application status in the application system regularly, and complete each step of the operation in strict accordance with the information prompts of the school. If you do not check the notice in time and delay the follow-up process, the applicant shall be responsible for it.
2.2.1 Preliminary examination
After submitting the online application (excluding Chinese public holidays, natural disasters, and other force majeure factors), the applicant will receive the preliminary examination information within 1 to 3 working days (after passing the preliminary examination, the system will prompt to pay the application fee);

4.1 Application qualification:
4.1.1 The applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen holding a foreign passport.
4.1.2 Applicants for master’s degree programs should have a degree equivalent to a Chinese bachelor’s degree. Applicants for doctoral degree programs should have a degree equivalent to a master’s degree in China.
4.1.3 The applicant should have good conduct, good physical and mental health, and be willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of Tsinghua University.

The University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) is a public university famous for its research contributions in the science and technology development in the country. It is in located Hefei, in the Anhui province of China. USTC was founded in 1958 in Beijing. However, in 1970, the university was moved to Anhui province in Hefei.
University of Science and Technology has taken the leading position among other Chinese universities like Peking and Tsinghua University. Currently, there are almost 16,000 students enrolled at this university in China with low acceptance rates These students are a total of both locals and foreigners. Total faculty members who are serving at USTC are close to 3,600.
5.1 Application qualification:
5.1.1 Non-Chinese citizens who graduated from high school or above, are in good health and hold a valid foreign passport.
5.1.2 The level of Chinese is above HSK level 5. Applicants whose mother tongue is Chinese or who use Chinese teaching in senior high school can be exempted from providing HSK scores after being recognized by our school.

As of now, it is well-known for its research contributions in the Chinese Industry. Various research projects have been conducted at HUST. Around 60,000 students are currently enrolled at HUST. Among these are about 4,200 international students.
9.1Application qualification:
9.1.1 To apply for a bachelor’s degree, you need to hold a high school diploma and be under the age of 25.
9.1.2 To apply for a master’s degree, you need to hold a bachelor’s degree certificate and be under 35 years old.
9.1.3To apply for a doctor’s degree, you need to hold a master’s degree certificate and be under 40 years old.
9.1.4 To apply for the general education program, you need to have completed at least two years of undergraduate study or have the same educational background, under the age of 45.

Wuhan University is another well-known present in China. It was founded in 1893 and was named Ziqiang Institute back then. It was named National Wuhan University in 1928. The main campus of the university is located in Wuhan. It is organized into more than 80 schools and colleges that offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs to the students. Most of the programs are offered in both Chinese and English.
Wuhan University is quite famous among domestic as well as international students. Currently, around 55,000 students are enrolled in various disciplines at Wuhan University.
10.1 Application qualification:
10.1.1 Foreign citizens with good health, good conduct, and the equivalent of a Chinese high school diploma.
10.1.2 Excellent academic performance, the following performance certificates (including but not limited to) shall be provided:
- official transcripts provided by high school (English or Chinese version of transcripts or notarized copies)
- national/regional unified high school examination transcript
- international standardized test results
- applicants who have studied in China should provide proof of their original performance in school;
10.1.3 At least 18 years old as of September 1 of the year of enrollment; Applicants who have not yet reached the age of 18 are required to submit a guardian’s guarantee at the time of application.
10.1.4 Chinese Proficiency
- medical applicants with HSK level 4 or above and liberal arts applicants with HSK level 5 or above can directly enter Chinese teaching major; HSK level certificate is not required for first-year applicants of Chinese language major of International Institute of education.
- those whose Chinese proficiency does not meet the requirements can apply for further study in Chinese. After their Chinese proficiency meets the requirements of the school, they can apply to study in professional departments;
10.1.5 English level
Applicants who are not native speakers of English should provide proof of English proficiency, a TOEFL score of 80, and an IELTS score of 5.5. For those who can’t provide a standardized English test certificate, an English written test or interview shall be conducted.
10.1.6 Requirements of Chinese learning background
If the parents or one party has acquired foreign nationality for Chinese citizens or emigrated from the mainland of China (Chinese mainland), Hongkong, Macao, and Taiwan, according to the 12 letters of the Ministry of education of the People’s Republic of China (2020), 12 must be naturalized for 4 years or more, and in the past 4 years (before April 30, 2021), there are more than 2 years of residence in foreign countries.
