《鹿鼎记》是金庸的最后一部武侠小说。是金庸的封笔之作，代表了金庸武侠小说的最高成就。《鹿鼎记》这部小说从1969年10月连载到1972年9月，连载时间长达两年零十一个月，仍然连载在金庸主办的《明报》上。该书名字中有”鹿”和”鼎”二字，”鹿”是”逐鹿中原”的”鹿”，”鼎”是”问鼎”的”鼎”，因此，从名字上看，《鹿鼎记》就和政治、和权力斗争是紧密相连的。故事背景设置在明末清初(1644年-1689年)，讲的是一个从小在扬州妓院长大的韦小宝，以不会任何武功之姿态闯江湖各大帮会、周旋于皇帝朝臣之间并奉旨远征云南、俄罗斯之故事，塑造了一个与传统的侠客完全不同的小人物形象，并借这个形象讽刺了一些道貌岸然的伪君子和迂腐顽固的思想，表现了民族统一的思想。连环画共计八册，谨请欣赏。
1定睛一看，却原来是归家三人。抓住他手的归二娘道:“我们昨晚就来了，一直未找到皇帝。快带我们去!”韦小宝知道无法抗违，心念一动:“我带他们去慈宁宫，大呼大叫，小皇帝有了防备，下手害了太后却不关我事。”
After a close look, it turned out that there were three people coming home. Gui Erniang, who grabbed his hand, said, “We came last night, but we haven’t found the emperor. 2韦小宝给三人挟着走向慈宁宫。远远望见从宫中出来一行人，抬着两顶轿子，前乘是皇太妃的，后乘是皇太后的，轿后跟着太监，宫女，侍卫。他灵机一动，低声道:“小心!前面轿中是鞑子皇帝，后面轿中是皇太后。”
2 Wei Xiaobao was led by the three men to the Cining Palace. From a distance, I saw a group of people coming out of the palace carrying two sedan chairs. The first one was the imperial concubine’s, the second one was the empress dowager’s, followed by eunuchs, maids and bodyguards. He had an idea and said in a low voice, “Be careful! In the front sedan chair is the Tartar Emperor, and in the back sedan chair is the Empress Dowager.”
3两乘轿子越走越近，归二娘一声“去”，这三人直如狂风骤至，只听一声巨响，三人六掌，俱击在第一乘轿子之上。归氏夫妇怕还打不死皇帝，手起剑落，刹那间向轿内连刺四五剑，每一剑都鲜血淋漓。
The two sedan chairs were getting closer and closer, and Gui Erniang said “go”. The three people were as straight as a strong wind and heard only a loud noise. The three people hit the first sedan chair with six palms. The Gui family were afraid that they could not kill the emperor. They stabbed four or five swords into the car in a flash. Each sword was bloody.
4随从侍卫大惊，抽出兵刃上前截拦。归二娘道声“得手了”，拉住儿子，径向北闯。宫中四下里钟声响起，干百扇门户纷纷紧闭。韦小宝大声喝道:“大家不得惊慌，保护皇太后要紧!”
The attendant guards were shocked and drew out their weapons to stop them. Gui Er Niang said, “Got it”, grabbed her son and rushed north. The bell rang in the palace, and hundreds of doors were closed. Wei Xiaobao shouted, “Don’t panic. It’s important to protect the Empress Dowager!”
5韦小宝走到皇太后轿前道:“奴才韦小宝救驾来迟，刺客已经杀退，躬请圣安。”太后道:“很好，你又救了我一次。”原来，瘦头陀早已潜入宫中，挾制太后，待毛东珠到，便二人挤入前乘轿，命太后护送。
5 Wei Xiaobao walked to the front of the Empress Dowager’s sedan chair and said, “The slave Wei Xiaobao came late to rescue the assassin. The assassin has already been killed. Bow down and pray for Saint Ann.” The Empress Dowager said, “Very good, you saved me again.” It turned out that the thin head had already sneaked into the palace and held the empress Dowager hostage. When Mao Dongzhu arrived, the two people crowded into the front sedan chair and ordered the empress Dowager to escort them.
6韦小宝得知内情，道声万幸，遂到前轿中观看，见二人死得一踏糊涂，又怕泄露机密，立刻下令，原轿抬往火化，任何人等不得往轿内窥探，否则格杀勿论。直到火光媳尽，这才离去。
When Wei Xiaobao learned the inside story, he said that he was very lucky, so he went to the front sedan chair to watch. Seeing that the two people were dead and confused, and afraid of revealing secrets, he immediately ordered the original sedan to be carried to cremation, and no one was allowed to peep into the sedan, or he would be shot to death. He didn’t leave until the flames were gone.
7康熙把韦小宝召到养心殿，在殿外候传。见前锋营统领阿齐赤从殿中出来，心知小皇帝调兵遣将，加紧严防刺客。康熙见到韦小宝，道他是怕自己受害，指点刺客刺太妃，实是忠心，歪打正着，也算大大一件功劳。
Kangxi summoned Wei Xiaobao to the Hall of Mental Cultivation and waited outside the hall. Seeing the commander of the Qianfeng Battalion, Aqichi, coming out of the hall, he knew that the little emperor had deployed his troops and stepped up his guard against assassins. When Kangxi saw Wei Xiaobao, he said that he was afraid of being hurt. He was loyal to the assassin and stabbed the concubine.
8康熙话锋一转道:“天父地母，反清复明!韦香主，你好大的胆子啊!”韦小宝顿觉天转地旋，立即跪倒，叫道:“小桂子投降，请小玄子饶命!”
Kangxi changed his words and said, “Father and Mother of Heaven, fight against the Qing Dynasty and restore the Ming Dynasty! Lord Wei Xiang, how dare you!” Wei Xiaobao immediately knelt down and cried, “Little Guizi surrender, please forgive me!”
9康熙站起身，在殿上踱来踱去道:“若不是念着你有过一些微功，你便有一百颗脑袋，也早砍下来了。”韦小宝忙道:“是，是!奴才保定我主江山。”康熙一字一字道:“我要你反天地会。”
Kangxi stood up and walked up and down the hall, saying, “If you hadn’t read that you have had some minor skills, you would have had a hundred heads, which would have been cut off.” Wei Xiaobao said quickly, “Yes, yes! I am the slave who will protect my lord Jiangshan.” Kangxi said word by word, “I want you to fight against heaven and earth.”
10他们正在说话，殿外兵刃撞击，喊喝声不止。康熙知道殿外有几百名侍卫把守，并不理会刺客，抽出一幅图叫韦小宝看。韦小宝认得是他的府第详图。康熙道，今晚天地会，沐家王屋派一干人在此聚会，已有十二门大炮对准此地。
While they were talking, the weapons outside the temple struck and shouted loudly. Kangxi knew that there were hundreds of bodyguards outside the hall, and ignored the assassin. He drew a picture for Wei Xiaobao to see. Wei Xiaobao recognized the detail of his mansion. Kangxi said that the heaven and earth will meet tonight.
