7令狐冲迷迷糊糊来到一片平野上。只见正邪两派许多人在围着一个小凉亭，那亭中坐着一个白衣老者，背上负着一个包袱，在独自饮酒，竟不将群敌放在眼底。令狐冲心中好生佩服他的豪气，也不管许多，就大步走进亭去。
Linghu Chong came to a plain in a daze. I saw many people from both the good and evil sects around a small pavilion. In the pavilion sat an old man in white with a bag on his back. He was drinking alone, but did not put the enemy in the eye. Linghu Chong admired his heroism in his heart, and he strode into the pavilion.
8令狐冲朗声道:“前辈请了，你独酌无伴，未免寂寞，我来陪你喝酒。”就提起酒壶为老者斟了一杯，又为自己斟了一杯，举杯道:“请!”咕的一声，一饮而尽，大赞道:“好酒，好酒!”那老者只是坐了，也不说话。

It’s lonely, so I’ll drink with you.” He took the wine jug and poured a glass for the old man, and then poured a glass for himself.
