1一日，令狐冲正在练功，忽听得黑白子的声音在门外说道:“任老前辈，这一个多月，我大哥足不出户，在下故此来迟，今日特带来肥鸡美酒，孝敬前辈。”
One day, Linghu Chong was practicing martial arts, when he heard the voice of Heizi saying outside the door: “Elder Brother, my eldest brother has stayed at home for more than a month, so I’m late. Today I bring the fat chicken wine to honor the elder.”
2令狐冲多日滴酒未沾，一闻到酒香，哪里还忍得住。他扑到方孔前，抓住黑白子递进的酒和鸡肉便大嚼大饮起来。顷刻之间，一只鸡一壶酒便被他吃得干干净净。
Linghuchong has not touched the wine for many days. When he smells the wine, he can’t help it. He rushed to the square hole, grabbed the wine and chicken handed in by Black-and-white son, and began to munch and drink. In an instant, a chicken and a pot of wine were eaten clean by him.
3吃完酒肉，令狐冲将酒壶放在木盘上递出去。黑白子伸手来接，就在这电光石火的一瞬之间，令狐冲左手翻上，牢牢扣住黑白子手腕上“内关”、“外关”两处穴道。
After eating the wine and meat, Linghu Chong put the wine pot on the wooden plate and handed it out. Black-and-white son reached out to pick it up. In the flash of lightning, he made Huchong turn his left hand up and firmly clasped the two acupoints on Black-and-white son’s wrist, “Neiguan” and “Waiguan”.
4突然之间，黑白子猛觉穴道中内力源源外泄，登时魂飞天外:“老爷子，求……求你!”令狐冲不管许多，使力将黑白子手腕拉近，没料想一用力，呼的一声，黑白子整个身子都进了牢房。
All of a sudden, Heizi suddenly felt that the source of internal power in the acupoints was leaking out, and immediately flew out of his mind: “Sir, please… please!” Ling Huchong did not care much. He pulled Heizi’s wrist close, but unexpectedly, Heizi’s whole body went into the cell with a shout.
5黑白子痛得呻吟出声:“任……任老爷子，你……你的吸星大法…”说话间早已软瘫在地。令狐冲穿上黑白子的衣衫、头罩，扔下黑白子，从方孔中钻了出去。
5 Black-and-white son groaned with pain: “Ren… old man Ren, you… your star absorption method…” He had already collapsed on the ground. Linghu Chong put on the black and white clothes and hood, threw down the black and white son, and drilled out of the square hole.
6出得牢门，忽听身后有人阴恻侧问道:“二弟，你下去干什么?”令狐冲回头从头罩中望出去，只见黄钟公、秃笔翁、丹青生三人各挺兵刃，围在身周。
6 When he got out of the prison door, he suddenly heard someone behind him ask sadly: “Second brother, what are you doing down there?” Linghu Chong looked back from his head cover, and saw that Huang Zhonggong, bald pen weng and Dan Qingsheng were all armed around him.
7令狐冲知道自己一开囗必露马脚，便不顾一切地拔足狂奔，一直到了一处无人的山野，方才收住脚步。一瞧身后，早已没了人影。
Linghu Chong knew that he would show his feet when he opened his mouth, so he pulled out his feet and ran at all costs, until he reached a deserted mountain, and then stopped. Look behind you, there is no one.
8令狐冲在此僻静之处直呆到深夜，心中疑团终未解开，便决意回梅庄查个明白。趁着月色，他悄悄回到梅庄，跃进围墙，刚提步走到窗下，忽听一苍老的声音喝道:“黄钟公，你知罪么?”
Linghu Chong stayed in this quiet place until late at night. The mystery in his heart was not solved, so he decided to go back to Meizhuang to find out. Taking advantage of the moonlight, he quietly returned to Meizhuang, jumped into the wall, and just stepped under the window, when he heard an old voice shouting: “Huang Zhong Gong, do you know your sin?”
9令狐冲从窗缝中向内望去，只见三个五六十岁的老者和一个中年妇人分坐在四张椅中，黄钟公、秃笔翁、丹青生则站在四人之前。
Linghuchong looked in through the window, and saw three 50-60 year old men and a middle-aged woman sitting in four chairs, while Huang Zhonggong, bald man and Dan Qingsheng stood in front of the four.
10令狐冲听下去，才知这四人是奉了日月神教教主之命前来查看关押在地牢之中的要犯的。听上去，似乎要犯已逃离地牢。
After listening, Linghu Chong realized that these four people came to check the key criminals in the dungeon at the order of the leader of the Sun and Moon Cult. It sounds as if the key criminal has escaped from the dungeon.
