《鹿鼎记》是金庸的最后一部武侠小说。是金庸的封笔之作，代表了金庸武侠小说的最高成就。《鹿鼎记》这部小说从1969年10月连载到1972年9月，连载时间长达两年零十一个月，仍然连载在金庸主办的《明报》上。该书名字中有”鹿”和”鼎”二字，”鹿”是”逐鹿中原”的”鹿”，”鼎”是”问鼎”的”鼎”，因此，从名字上看，《鹿鼎记》就和政治、和权力斗争是紧密相连的。故事背景设置在明末清初(1644年-1689年)，讲的是一个从小在扬州妓院长大的韦小宝，以不会任何武功之姿态闯江湖各大帮会、周旋于皇帝朝臣之间并奉旨远征云南、俄罗斯之故事，塑造了一个与传统的侠客完全不同的小人物形象，并借这个形象讽刺了一些道貌岸然的伪君子和迂腐顽固的思想，表现了民族统一的思想。连环画共计八册，谨请欣赏。
1囚室之中，鳌拜双手舞动铁链，乱纵乱跃。那使钢鞭的青衣汉子想从窗格中钻进来，鳌拜连手铐带铁链往他头上猛力击去，青衣汉子顿时脑浆迸裂而死。

2韦小宝心想:“他如回过身来打我，我可要归天了!”急急之下不及细想，提起匕首，猛力向鳌拜后心戳去。鳌拜服药后神智已失，浑不知背后有人来袭，匕首入背，鳌拜张口狂呼，双手连着铁铐乱舞。
Wei Xiaobao thought to himself, “If he turns around and hits me, I will die!” In a hurry, he could not think about it. He raised the dagger and thrust it at Aobei’s heart. After taking the medicine, Obai lost his mind. He didn’t know someone was coming behind him. The dagger went into his back. Obai opened his mouth and shouted loudly. 3窗外众青衣人都怔住了，齐声叫道:“这小孩杀了鳌拜!”一长须人发令:“带这孩子走，大伙儿退兵!”一名青衣大汉将韦小宝挟在胁下，冲出石屋。王府中二十余名卫土不住放箭，康亲王提刀亲自督战。

4众青衣人逃出王府，乔装成乡农模样，挑柴的兆柴，挑菜的挑菜。又将鳌拜的尸体和韦小宝分别装入两个运枣的大木桶中，用木车推了，在大街小巷穿行。

5夜晚时分，一位老者将韦小宝从桶中提出，抱进了一间灵堂。堂内有二百多个身着青衣，头缠白布的汉子。一声“上祭!”之后，一名上身赤裸，头缠白布的大汉用木盘托着一颗人头，放在供桌之上。

7青木堂中各路英雄为拥戴谁为香主起了争执，贾老六沉不住气，说道:“杀死鳌拜的，乃是这个……”他转身寻觅韦小宝，见韦小宝一只脚已跨出门厅，大叫:“抓住他!”刹那间六七个人扑上去，将韦小宝硬生生拖了回来。
7 Heroes in the Green Wood Hall quarreled over who would support the incense master. Jia Laoliu was not calm and said, “It was this that killed Aobai…” He turned to look for Wei Xiaobao.
