91次日清晨，康熙到清凉寺拜佛，众少林僧都过来相见。突然间砰地一声巨响，泥沙纷纷而下，大雄宝殿顶上穿了一洞，一个身穿白衣的僧人直堕而下，手持长剑，疾向康熙扑去，叫道:“今日为大明天子复仇!”
In the morning of the next day, Kangxi went to Qingliang Temple to worship Buddha, and all the Shaolin monks came to meet. Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and the sand poured down one after another. A hole was pierced on the top of the the Shakya ManiHall. A monk in white fell down and rushed to Kangxi with a long sword in his hand, shouting, “Today, revenge for the Son of Heaven!”
92康熙急忙后退，多隆等七八位待卫因在皇帝之旁，未带兵刃，被那人左手衣袖摔出。少林寺澄字辈僧人各施绝技，却也没能抓住此人，众僧惊诧之下，都是心念一闪:“天下竟有如此人物!”
Kangxi retreated in a hurry, and Dolong and other seven or eight waiting guards were thrown out of the left sleeve of the man because they were beside the emperor and did not carry a weapon. 93那白衣僧又挺剑向康熙刺来，康熙背靠佛坐供桌，已无可再退。韦小宝急跃而上，挡在康熙身前，唉地一声，剑尖刺中他胸口，因有宝衣服身，长剑一弯，竟没刺入。
The monk in white stabbed Kangxi with his sword again. Kangxi sat at the table with his back against the Buddha, and could not retreat. Wei Xiaobao leaped up and stood in front of Kangxi. Alas, the sharp point of the sword stabbed him in the chest. Because of his clothes, the long sword didn’t pierce him.
94白衣僧赞道:“好功夫!”右手一长，已抓住韦小宝领口，突然间身子拔起，从殿顶破洞窜了出去。这一下去得极快，殿上三十六名少林高手，竟没一人来得及阻挡。

95白衣僧提着韦小宝疾行许久，突然将他往地上一摔，冷冷道:“想不到你这小和尚竟会那刀枪不入的护体神功”韦小宝听那人语音清亮，看那人脸时，竟是个极美貌的女子，只是剃了光头，原来是个尼姑。

96韦小宝把自己的出身来历和手刃鳌拜的经过一一细说了，白衣尼取余出十几两银子，要他回场州去。韦小宝不接银子，抱住白衣尼的腿大哭，央求白衣尼带他去北京。韦小宝发现白衣尼没了左臂。
