11两人吃了些鹿肉干，躺在江岸边休息，等到二更时分，悄悄走向城寨，望见那城寨是用大木材和大石块建成，方园着实不小。见城寨东南角上有座小木屋，窗子中透出亮光。

12二人潜到窗下，听到屋内传出一男一女的声音。忽听到洪教主的声音道:“敝人竭诚竭力，和罗刹国同心协力，共图大事。从此有福同享，有难共当，双方永远不会背盟。”

13在屋内，一男一女两个罗刹国人，洪教主恭敬垂手侍立，地上放着大珍珠一百颗，貂皮一百张，人参一百斤。洪教主道:“总督大人远道来到中国，些许东西孝敬总督大人，另有贡品呈给罗刹国皇上。”

15韦小宝和双儿不一日来到北京。韦小宝谒见康熙，略述别来经过。康熙听见神龙岛已经攻破，假太后虽未擒到，却得知洪教主与罗刹国结盟，甚是高兴。
