Simple Translation
Hearing this, Baoyu took the jade from her neck and handed it to Baochai. Baochai held the jade in her palm, and saw that the jade was as big as a bird’s egg, crystal and smooth. It was really rare. There are two lines on the front: Don’t lose, don’t forget, and live forever.
